As part of our ongoing personal work BG Bully Family Project we will be posting a selection of photos from each session.
We will also be donating 50% of Any sales that results from prints, wall art, or usb’s of full session to Pinups for Pitbulls to aid in the education of how Awesome these dogs are!! About the project…. Philadelphia Phootographer
We have a passion for rescue work and a passion for photographing people, places, and things and telling their story! So we are embarking on a personal project to help end the negative stereotypes of Bully Breed dogs!! We thought what better way then to show these beautiful dogs being loved on and loving the humans that saved them- especially those with children!! With the negative stereotypes people think these dogs aren’t good for homes with small kids! Well these families would disagree! We also wanted to showcase families that are also discriminated against and face stereotypes- people with tattoos! I LOVE photographing beautiful INK!!! and i LOVE LOVE dogs!! so follow along on our journey as we try to dispel a lot of myths!!

Meet Apollo || BG Bully Family Project|| Philadelphia Photographer

What a Love Bug! He was just soooo sweet and soft! I just want to play with him all day!! Katie and Apollo (and a friend of Katie’s) drove over 2 hours to be a part of the BG Bully Family Project. Like I said, we want to highlight “bully families” and we decided not to put constraints on what “family” is! 5 mins spent with Katie and Apollo and you see their special bond! Katie described him this way when she emailed me to learn about our project.

“I rescued my Pitty in 2012 from the Lehigh County Humane Society. Which is a kill shelter.  His name is Apollo. and is Brindle and white. He currently weighs 80 lbs.  up from the 63 when I adopted him. He’s been through adult 1 and 2 training to become a therapy dog. He is a very handsome and photogenic boy! “

I couldnt agree more!! Katie wrote “its all about freedom of the breed!” that was what she wanted to showcase so we came up with the idea to go to the Betsy Ross House. We didnt want the “typical” Liberty Bell and thought this would send a great message!! I LOVE that she made them matching t-shirts!! And she also said he loves to stick his head out of the car while driving- “feeling free”!!!

And Please leave a comment saying your favorite photo and WHY and if they get at least 10 comments they will get the most popular one as a FREE 8×10 gift print! So show them some love and help them out!!
