Jennifer + Ryan || Pomme Wedding Photos Radnor, Pa
When you watch Jennifer and Ryan together you can’t deny how much they’re in love with each other. Just check out these Pomme Wedding Photos and you will see exactly what I am talking about. The two of them are just so natural and relaxed with each other. Despite it being incredibly hot while we were doing there portraits and their outdoor ceremony, they never stopped smiling and laughing. It seems only fitting since there was a huge snow storm when we did their engagement session. You can see those photos here. Wedding Photos Radnor, Pa
We began our day with Jennifer and her bridesmaids getting ready at her parents house. Jennifer’s mom and dad are just so awesome. Ryan’s mom was there as well and she is a total sweetheart. It’s always fun capturing the bride and her friends getting ready either in her own home or her childhood home. It just has so much more meaningful than getting ready in a random hotel. Meanwhile our second shooters Brian and Stacy met up with Ryan and his groomsmen at Pomme.
We love capturing weddings at Pomme. It has a beautiful outdoor ceremony area and the inside always looks magnificent. We just love all the twinkle lights that were hanging from the ceiling to go with all the rustic decorations. Ryan and his dad made all the wood decorations from trees on his parents land. It’s such a pleasure to work with Peachtree and Ward and their team on weddings there.
After a sweet and romantic “First Look” moment of the two of them we were joined by their wedding party. This was a great group of bridesmaids and groomsmen. And how amazing of the bridesmaids outfits. Especially that pantsuit. So cool. I think it’s really important to let your bridesmaids show their own personalities. In these outfits were stunning! And again, despite the heat, nobody was complaining at all. One of my favorite photos is actually one that a bridesmaid got of me under Jennifer’s dress wiping down the sweat because wedding dresses can be so hot LOL! Just one more way we go above and beyond here at BG Productions Photography and Videography!
Their ceremony was filled with beautiful light and beautiful moments. Actually one of their high school teachers was the officiant from Journeys of the Heart (and of course being a past high school history teacher I thought this was totally awesome!). After the ceremony was finished up cocktail hour began. The beauty of being able to do a “First Look” is that most of the time (and in this case ) we also were able to photograph all the family formals before the ceremony. This way a couple could enjoy a couple minutes alone. After they said their ” I Do’s” they had a few minutes of alone time before they joined their friends and family at cocktail hour.
While the whole day was filled with amazing moments one of my favorite all-time wedding moments happened at the end of the night. Ryan in his groomsmen all have a tradition. Whoever is getting married is giving a cowboy hat. This symbolizes that they’re no longer “Rangers” but now are “Ranchers”. They are also giving engraved bottle of whiskey and they all take a shot. I found this to be such an amazing moment a friendship, camaraderie, and a symbol of transitioning into a new stage in their lives.
We are so blessed we were able to capture such a special time in their lives. And we know they are having a fantastic time on their honeymoon in Bermuda.
We hope you enjoy some of our favorite images of the day. And make sure to leave a comment on the blog saying your Fav. photo and WHY and help them win a FREE 8×10 of the most popular!
