Springton Manor Farm Wedding || Tattooed Bride and Groom
If you know us at all you know we LOVE cool details. This Springton Manor Farm Wedding has it all: fall colors and a super fun tattooed bride and groom! SO of course we were able to get some amazing Springton Manor Farm Wedding photos of Lauren and Rick on their BIG day!! Despite the on and off rain we had a Blast taking their wedding portraits. We had actually done their engagement session (see photos here) at Springton Manor Farm about a month and a half prior to the wedding. So at least they were able to get some photos of them in the sunshine.
We met up with Lauren in the early afternoon to capture her getting dressed. At first it was just her there so it gave us some time just to talk, relax and take some great detail shots. She had come from having her hair and makeup done by Parlour and looked Amazing! Not long after, Rick and his groomsmen showed up to get ready as well. Once her bridesmaids and mother arrived at the venue it was time to get Lauren dressed for their first look. The rain held off long enough that we could do the first look photos outside. Then of course we knew seeing the goats was a priority (Lauren is a vet and LOVES animals) so we headed right over to them.
Rain Rain Go Away
I think it must be good luck to get kissed by a goat on your wedding day because that seemed to hold off the rain for a bit! As soon as we got to the pond it started to rain so we took a few quick photos but wanted to get the couple back inside so they didn’t get drenched before their ceremony. Since Springton Manor Farm has a beautiful covered porch we were able to do some bridal party photos there. I love all the bridesmaids dresses, they looked fantastic. It was really awesome to see a bridal party with lots of tattoos just like the tattooed bride and groom. There was definitely some beautiful artwork.
If you remember we LOVE when a tattooed bride and groom show off their artwork at their weddings! Remember this blog post all about it?
Originally their ceremony was going to be in front of the gazebo but they sent up a tent instead. It had been raining for the past several days which would’ve made the grass wet and muddy. No one wants a wet and muddy bride or guests! This was super helpful actually from a photography standpoint because it helped us light the ceremony for photos. The sun was setting rapidly and it got very dark by the time the ceremony ended. But the ceremony was super sweet and even included Rick’s son Alex.
We Love the Awesome Vendors We Work With
Lauren and Rick worked with The Styled Bride to help make their Springton Manor Farm wedding visions come to life. J Scott Catering along with Sullivan & Owen did a fantastic job. The flowers were absolutely gorgeous. And thanks to Soul Patch, the guest enjoyed the wonderful band. Definitely one of the highlights was the cute Photo Booth by Insta Shack. They were taking photos as well as gifs of the guests. Everyone seemed to have a great time.
