Pearl S. Buck House Wedding || Nikki + Dan || BG Productions Photography and Videography ||Bucks County Wedding Photographer
LOVE LOVE LOVE this Venue and this couple!!! We have gotten to know Nikki and Dan over the past year of their wedding planning. So we were pretty stoked when it was finally their BIG day at the Pearl S. Buck House!! and what a Gorgeous day it was! Really- blue sky, white fluffy clouds, a nice breeze, and just right temperature. and then the location- it was Perfect!! It is such my ideal space. Outside ceremony, wooded area, big field, stone buildings, lots of great knocks and crannies to shoot in!! Add that to clients that looked fantastic (Nikki had the perfect dress for that venue) and that love and want artistic imagery- well- that is just PERFECTION at it finest!!
We were thrilled that not only did they have our photography services, but also videography services as well as the super fun BG booth!! We had plenty of time to do some great photos and video with the couple after their first see moment before adding in the bridal party. Nikki and Dan are the perfect combo of rockstars and goofballs!! Made for some great moments.
All of the decor was beautiful. Open Aire Affairs who manages the property did a fabulous job (and Ray showed us some GREAT unknown photo opp locations!!). They used the services of a wedding planner- Sheila and her team from Elegant did a wonderful job!! I love that the couple totally matched the vibe and feel of the venue and didn’t go too over board with adding things. The farm tables with all the mason jar flowers and small bird cages (to match their love for birds) on burlap runners, was just the right touch!! The yummy cake came from Bredenbecks. The catering was from one of our favs- Sage Catering and loved all the different stations. Even though I dont eat sliders- I could tell they were a big hit!
But i think one of my favorite things about the day (besides their super cute dog Reggae) was their bands. During cocktail hour the Big Wawhoos entertained their guests while Roosevelt Dime killed it during the reception. It was great to hear some different kind of music at a wedding and all the guest totally had a blast!! and notice the computer everyone is looking at- thats Grandma- she couldn’t make it so she was skyped in for various parts!! There were also a couple wardrobe malfunctions- Dan split his pants picking up Reggae and his dad’s shoes has the soles basically fall apart- no mind though- they had fun showing them off to me (now that the grooms pants are so short you can really see his blue socks!! lol
thanks to the Awesome Possum Jen for being our 2nd shooter and working the BG Booth!!
