Cathie and Al were EXACTLY what we wanted in our wedding photography team (and then some!). They really worked to get to know our personalities throughout the planning process, and took shots that are reflective of who we are and the vibe we tried to create that day. They went above and beyond to capture some really amazing moments as they occurred naturally throughout the day. So often, I have experienced pushy or aggressive wedding photographers that interrupt the flow of the event and make the guests uncomfortable. The pictures and video we received from Cathie and Al are wonderful. We have gotten so many compliments from everyone at the wedding on how hard they worked that day but also how much fun they were. My husband and I love them. We were married October 11, 2008 and BG Productions had the video and photos ready within three weeks. The quality of photos were so great that we are having difficulty picking which photos we would like for our album. Cathie doesn't do a lot of traditional pictures, she really likes the more candid photos. The candid shots she got at our wedding were amazing and everyone that has seen the photos so far loves them. I would highly recommend both Al and Cathie of BG Productions.

We've used BG productions photography and video for a number of our big occasions; our baby shower, the birth of our daugther, our pregnancy shots, our yearly Christmas photo's, and many other events and have gotten rave reviews on our photographs from family and friends every single time. As I look around my house I notice that 90% of what I have framed around my house is a BG productions photo! We're just sorry we didn't know about them for our wedding. Their prices are about half of what others charge, including what our own wedding photographer charged, yet their quality is so much more modern and timelessly beautiful. I definitely consider them to be our family photographers.

**Cathie and Al really made the whole event happen.
They went way above the contract we signed, took more pictures than expected, and helped out in several areas that were so not required - like Al helping to decorate the top of the arch at the last minute because I couldn't reach.
Their personalities sparkle as much as their work. By the end of their contractual time, we begged them to come back and hang out for the rest of the reception. I really feel like in addition to being amazing vendors, they became our friends and guests as well.
Cathie's photos really captured all the moments that were important to me. She has a great eye for detail and it shows in her work. Al's video was more amazing than I ever could have imagined. We weren't sure if we even wanted videography and it has become the best thing we did. Both of them seamlessly blended in with the crowd and never missed anything.

I wish we could choose more than 5 stars! lol You can tell right from the jump that they love what they do. They are "people" people, which i think is essential for what they do. Everyone (no embellishing needed) loved their upbeat and friendly aura. We could have not chosen anyone better to do our photography and video. Although our wedding plans were kind of last minute, they were able to adjust with us and still provide us with terrific service beyond what our budget would have allowed with anyone else. I'm hoping to utilize their services for more than just our wedding, but other business ventures as well! "Forget the rest, and choose the best"...the BG group! The right way to go!

**My wife and I cannot speak more enthusiastically about the services of BG Productions, specifically Al Green and his wife Cat.
I was initially looking for an experienced photographer that offered affordable rates and was willing to shoot 100% digital with no prints (I am a photographer and wanted the creative flexibility and lower cost of no prints).
Cat, our photographer, responded quickly and knowledgeably about all of my questions and concerns about the venue (living room of a house) and lighting. I chose her from amongst our other choices because of her creativity and rare ability to capture moments that seem more than just a snapshot.
We chose Cat (photographer) first and got Al as an added bonus. We initially did not have the resources in our tight budget for videography, but at the last minute did and were looking for one. Al, much like his wife, was very accomodating, knowledgeable and took our wants and made them happen. His work was not canned and formulaic as many wedding videos I have seen. The final product was also very professional and bespoke of the time and energy they put into their work.
While I do not live in the Philadelphia area, I would not hesitate to hire either again, even if it meant paying for travel to Indiana. The last thing I would note is that the above praise is of their work and professionalism. There were numerous occasions during the event and after where both Cat and Al stepped in to make our day smoother (arranging flowers at the restaurant, stealing appetizers for us when we had to wait for our guests to arrive before entering the reception hall, reassuring our emotional worries about how things were going, etc.). They are quality professionals and even classier people.
